Pitt is one of the Lords of Southeastern Cratzta. He is the most warlike of the Lords, but also one of the most respected. He is presently the only Lord of warrior classification holding a true seat amongs the Council of Mages in the Confederacy.
A high-ranking Sage leader in the Mage Guilds of Cratzta, Gisten prides himself with the ability to find students of talent from the many guilds for use in specialized tasks. He is responsible for forming a number of small specialized parties for search and rescue operations, or for scouting upcoming situations. He is the driving force behind self-interested mercenaries in the Cratztan Confederacy.
Leader of the Palace guard of Cratzta Prime, Mannveig is the chief general of the considerable armed might of Cratzta. It is not known if Mannveig is human or not, but it it a surety that he is at least 300 years of age.
Consort to Mannveig, Arete is a Sage of great success. Her wisdom and power are seldom disputed, or tested. Like her husband, Mannveig, Arete is old beyond the ken of man. It is not obvious that she is of elven blood, and seems neither young nor old.
Sherrif of the small town of Pictou, five days ride north of North Cratzta, near the coast. Jonor claims to have knowledge of Orcs from his duties in the NorthEast. Now deceased, dead by an orc's blow.
One of the more influential mages on the council, Adrermeon has been on the council for a full 52 years. Adrermeon is more of a politician than a true mage. I was his charm and his leadership abilities that earned him a seat on the council. He has gained a reputation as being a crusader, and is renowned for always pressing the council into selfless deeds that benefit many. He is very popular amongst the citizens of Cratzta. He is impeccably dressed, 6'2", fit and appears to be about 60 years of age, with steel gray hair; blue eyes.
Lucia has been a council staple for over 40 years, and she has been married to Adrermeon for 35. Lucia is a consummate researcher - a student of Yellaexei, who has devoted her life to the stufy of magic and many of her magical theorums are taught in most mage schools. Although an attractive woman in her youth, she was always emotionally withdrawn - however, Adrermeon has drawn her from her acedemic pursuits.
Like her husband, Lucia is appears to be about 60 years of age, fit and slender with white hair tied back loosely. She usually wears simple robes that are not always well pressed. Although she may seem distracted at times, she is extremely intelligent and kindly once engaged in conversation.
Raif is the youngest mage ever elected to the council at 28 years of age. His ascension to the council was opposed by many. Raif's intelligence and other attributes are unsurpassed, and he promises to be one of the greatest mages in history after so legendary a debate as his council election.
Raif has been an adventurer in his time, and was a strongly skilled adventuring mage even in his early 20s. However, his rapacious nature got him into difficulties, and so his presence in the council is partially to confine his chaotic nature and prevent him from misusing his powers. Raif does not appreciate this confinement, however. Raif is a tall man with cat-like graces - he is extremely charming and a popular lady's man despite his studious nature.
Yellaexei is a bitter man, somewhat jealous of the success and popularity of other council members. Yellaexei was not admitted to the council until ten years after Adrermeon - this has always grated on him, since he feels he is more accomplished as a mage. He is also secretely in love with Lucia, and sponsored her entry into the council - of course she made further inroads on her own merit.
Yellaexei is an arrogant man, who has the poor luck to appear that way to even casual inspection. He is conscious of his appearance and has made himself look to be a man in his early 40s. However, as sometimes happens with those who use magic to affect their appearance, Yellaexei's skill has a smooth glassy look that nobody would mistake as natural. He has black hair and dark eyes on a narrow face. His nose is thin, long and he always appears to look down it at those he talks to, even those taller than his 5'8". He gets very upset if anyone mentions his skin or his nose, or makes any derogatory remarks of his appearance.
Hars is the oldest member of the council, and one of its most powerful. She is often referred to by the citizens of Cratzta as "Mother Hars" and is revered and respected by almost everyone. Despite her use of magic, Hars is declining in health, but despite that, she has retained her extremely powerful intellect and the wisdom of almost two centuries.
It was Hars who sponsored Adrermeon to his council ascension. She shares his vision of responsibility to the people of the Confederate. Now, she appears frail, with bone white hair - while her face is free of wrinkles, her eyes tell the tale of many ages.
Idagnoe is a motley figure that wears patchwork robes and has odd-coloured red/orange hair. His grey eyes look strange against his dark skin and large bulbous nose. It was fabled that he is the magical product of a gnome and a bronze dragon, while it is certain that he represents the gnomes on the Council.
Idagnoe spent many years adventuring and councilling with human mages in Cratzta. The Council asked him to sit the meetings, and eventually he came to represent the gnomish contigent.
Aligaard is a pompous, overbearing, insulting mage with a superior attitude. He despises warriors and rogues, and only barely tolerates priests. His father, a general, slew Aligaards brother in a drunken rage, after his forceful retirement. Distraught with the vision on his dying brother, Aligaard flew from his family and all having to do with war. Deeply, Aligaard is a loving and caring man, but he's created his snobbish exterior to guard himself.
Aligaard is a very careful, meticulate mage with the ability to back up his claims of superiority. He favours the invoking arts.
Arcamean is a slight mage. His bright green eyes contrast his jet-black hair. He always wears Midnite Blue, from his robes to spellbook. His young face shows the deep lines of a long life, for he has seen more in his short time in the North West than most ever will.
Arcamean the mage was born in the town of Isa in the west. In Isa, Arcamean was apprenticed to the mage Irusan, an extreme egotist who thought himself more powerful than he truly was. Arcamean soon built his own tower and now lives with his own apprentices studying and perfecting the arts of magic.
A handsome High elf, Mirtenius has blond hair that reaches his shoulders. His face is clean, without facial hair. Like all elves, he moves with the grace of a cat.
Mirtenius is a glaring contradiction, since there are no High Elves in Belur, only rumours and legends of them. Many do not believe that Mirtenius is a High Elf (he has made no such claim) but any elf seeing him immediately knows what they are looking at.
An incredibly accomplished mage, Mirtenius does not obviate his skill, nor does he much let his thinking known. He has little of the need to prove himself. Without question, this elf is the oldest of the council, and there are tales that he is older than known civilization.
Mithrus was an accomplished warrior and weaponsmith when he was discovered to have the Dwarven gift for Maru ka Restoratu Nil ("Forging the Living Blade"). He journeyed to Cratzta to study the world of magic and more importantly, enchantment. His skill at forging weapons of magical nature is unsurpassed in the known world and it was this skill that permitted him to the Council as Dwarven representative.
Weapons crafted by Mithrus are always in demand because of their workmanship and powerful enchantments. Being in possession of such a weapon is seen as a very powerful status symbol. All of Mithrus' work bears his sigil upon them - a hammer with a lightning bolt for a handle.
For a dwarf, Mithrus is tall and powerful looking. His eyes are the colour of unworked iron, and his hands are scarred with old burns earned by plying his trade. His beard has long ago gone grey, but is cropped short in the custom of all Dwarven weaponsmiths in order to keep their bears from the forge.
A name spoken in whispers, if dared spoken at all. A name both feared and revered in Cratzta as well as most of the civilized world, Sevrebon is the leader of the Assassin's society of Cratzta. Sevrebon has always been the leader of the society and likely always will be.
The latest incarnation of Sevrebon keeps his true appearance hidden behind illusion or disguise much of the time, so little is known of his true appearance. What is known is that whatever the true identity, a highly accomplished mage lives behind the shifting visage.
