Belur House Rules

Here is a collection of house rules that are in effect in the mileau setting of Belur.

a) Thieves may not be of Cratztan descent. Rogue characters may only descend from races other than human Cratztan. It is inbred into every Cratztan at an early age not to steal, and thieves are dealt with very harshly. This is a racial, social phobia.

b) Rings of regeneration take one full week before they "attune" with their wielder. Therefore, they cannot be easily shared around a group of characters. As a DM, Steve feels this is a weakness in the game that harms gameplay, since it can make magical healing unecessary.

c) Content from these books is fair game:

- Relics & Rituals I/II
- Three Core Books except monster races
- Manual of the Planes
- Traps & Treachery I & II
- AEG's Dungeon
- AEG's Evil
- Defenders of the Faith
- Dragon Magazine (Ask DM)
- Magic of Faerun (Ask DM)
- Malhavoc's Eldritch Magic I/II and Ranger variant
- Mongoose's Necromancy (Ask DM)
- Psionics Handbook
- Song & Silence
- Sword & Fist
- AEG's Mercenaries
- Tome & Blood
- Epic Handbook (after Lv. 20)
- Deities & Demigods

If the feat, magic spell, etc. you are interested in looks too powerful to be for real, it probably is. Ask the DM.
